There are over 360 Miles of unspoilt Coastline in Brittany with
beautiful Golden Sand Beaches. Also there is the infamous Rose Granite Coast which is famous for its beautiful Rock formations of Pink Granite Stone.
There are so many Bays you will possibly find your own little
spot that you can enjoy on your own.
Also some of the beaches like St Efflam offer Water Sports
such as Windsurfing and on the beach you can have a go at Sand Karting which takes place most days peak time. |

Briitany is home of the Bretons, descendants of the Celts and many still speak the ancient Celtic language. Traditional costumes for women
includes embroided tops, floor length skirts and coiffe - a hat made of lace ( Bretons are famous for there lace making ). For men traditionally there costume comprises of Bragon Bas ( baggy trousers ), embroided vests, sabots ( wide brimmed hats )and of course clogs. The best place to see Traditional Breton architecture and tradition is in Quimper, which is also the center of Breton Faiencerie ( stoneware ) which has been hand painted as it was over 300 years ago.
Morbihan a region of Brittany, is covered with the Broceliande Forest which is infamous as the home of Merlin and the Legend of King
Arthur.Uther Pendragon , King Arthurs Father, was the King of Brittany and his mother, Ygerne the Duchess of Cornouaille.You can also visit the Lake of Sir Lancelot who was known as " du lac " of the Lake. |

Brittany is also famous for it's good cuisine and restaurants
and especially known for it's seafood such as St Jaques - Scallops, and Crepes - thin Pancakes with Cider.
Wine and Beer are very cheap with a good bottle of wine
costing less than a pound. The Bretons like to drink Kir which is dry white wine mixed with a drop of Cassis. |

visit to a working farm, a dairy farm, visit a pig farm, or see the honey makers ( Miel ), Goat farm to buy fresh goats cheese, visit the Cider makers of Brittany to sample there produce, or visit the places that make fine Lace, or why not have a relaxing day watching the boats come in, at one of Brittanys many fishing ports to see what the catch of the day is. |
